CHILD & ADOLESCENT counselling
We offer child & adolescent couselling to help young people deal with issues they face on a daily basis at home and school. It can address problems with anxiety, bereavement, bullying, anger, relationships, low self-esteem, and self-harm. Our counsellors will help explore the problem, the symptoms and strategies for coping. We are trained to help children make sense of what is going on in their minds, bodies, and lives – in a way that they can understand.
A child who is depressed or experiencing problems will show signs or changes in eating, sleeping, school, irritability, lack of personal safety and boundaries, recklessness, alcohol or substance abuse. Often, they will lack the self-esteem and confidence to be able to develop accordingly and appropriately for their age.
